Window renovation
M SORA also offers window renovation. With regard to the state of your windows you may choose one of the following:

total removal of your old windows

partial removal of old windows

leaving the old window frames - this is the so-called dry renovation. Old window sashes are removed, whereas old window frames are re-done with wood masks. As a rule of thumb walls and window reveals are not damaged in the process.
Minor wall and reveal damage can occur when old windows are partially or totally removed. This damage, however, can be easily fixed through masonry and/or plaster plates.
ADVANTAGES OF WINDOW INSTALLATION WITH SUBFRAMES
1. because the windows are built into the building after the construction work has been finished there is no damage and the windows are clean
2. before the installation of windows the building has to be dry so that humidity does not enter wood and damage the surface coating
3. subframes ensure extra insulation of window jambs on the outer side which increases the building’s insulation qualities
4. because the subframes’ delivery times are short masonry work can be carried out without delays
5. the installation does not require any additional finishing strips on the inner side
6. subframe installation is especially recommended when installing larch windows because this sensitive type of wood does not darken equally when lime is used
